Buying business data or consumer data can be a daunting task, especially for those who are new to the direct marketing game. Even the old hands will benefit from using a list broker rather than doing the legwork themselves. Here are Databroker’s 5 damn good reasons why you should use the services of a list broker instead of doing all the hard work yourself.

1 Experience
It’s an old ‘un, but a good ‘un. Like all good clichés, the value of experience stands the test of time. They say variety is the spice of life. Your list broker will have access to a vast array of data sets. Business data, consumer data, email data, sms data, niche business data and consumer data lists. From teeny tiny specific data lists you have never heard of, through to millions and millions of bog standard generic data records. So whether your campaign needs to micro target, say the FTSE contacts or you want to communicate with every business or consumer in the land, your data broker will be able to find the right list for the job.

4 Reliability
Now we all know that data can be seen as a dirty word and the industry has a bit of a cowboy reputation... And I have no doubt that there are some list brokers out there who have less than squeaky clean records. However as long as you choose a DMA Approved (Direct Marketing Association) data broker then you are on the right track. You will not be sold illegal data, you will not be flogged inappropriate data and you will not be lumped with a hefty fine and a brand in tatters for using a spam file. Now I know this is the one you are all interested in. The money, the cash, the reddies. A list broker will save you money. It is a fact. They know the market value of each and every list.
